A Thank You from Tongue in Cheek!
We'd just like to take a moment to thank our fabulous contributors for all of their wonderful work and patience with our editorial team. We wouldn't be who we are without them. A big thank you also goes out to Annie Kuruc, who graciously took the photos of our team included on the cover of the magazine and in the editor bios. Sassy people have stuck together to create something great!

Tom Dever
Very few people have denied that Tom Dever is a jolly good fellow. He served as Creative Writing Director at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from 1991 to 1996, when he was replaced by Eric Goodman in a controversial corporate buyout. He is currently an honorary member of the hip hop collective OFWGKTA and is planning a future in either politics or the aeronautical arts.
Kevin Drake
Kevin A. Drake is a junior Professional Writing major at Miami University. His study includes discussion on rhetoric, publishing, and in his spare time theology.
Zach Hardy
Zach Hardy is a Senior Mass Communications major at Miami University. In his spare time he draws comics, designs digital art, makes movies, creates graphics and produces music.
Charlie Hornsby
Charlie Hornsby is a second year undergraduate at Oxford University in Oxford, England where he studies chemistry. In his spare time he makes things rhyme. Please don't laugh -- you'll only encourage him.
Laavanya S.
Laavanya is an undergraduate student of Biotechnological Engineering in Anna University, India who enjoys writing to crank those creative gears sometimes with lots of anti-rust in the form of science and she is aiming to continue her education abroad. A self-confessed foodie, she believes that 'bread and butter' is one of the most under-rated foods. And she believes in fairy dust.
Spencer Shadel
Spencer Shadel is a space monkey. He contains multitudes. His name is Robert Paulsen. Starving hysterical naked, he is the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. He is going inside to get a shovel.

Maggie Sacolick
I'm a sophomore from Columbus, OH, currently majoring in zoology and doing pre-vet. My parents said I've always had an "artistic eye" for the world around me, but it wasn't until high school that I took photography seriously. I've enjoyed being behind the camera for 5 years now and love experimenting with alternative techniques. A lot of my photos focus on my major passions in life: animals and music.
